The cold-start valve adds extra fuel to prevent fuel condensation and the increased friction during engine startup in cold conditions. It works in series with the thermo-time switch to create an atomized swirl mixture, which is injected directly into the intake manifold plenum. Made by Bosch, it guarantees high reliability and durability.
