COMPONENT FUNCTION:
The pressure sensor provides the ECU with an intake manifold vacuum-dependent electrical signal to indicate load; this signal heavily influences fuel metering. The analog electrical signal in the sensor varies as the intake manifold vacuum changes the compression of the two connected pressure capsules (aneroids). The aneroids expand and contract as a function of the balance between the manifold vacuum and atmospheric pressure.
When Bosch 0280100100 stock is depleted, use 0280100112.
This sensor has been out of production for years. It is challenging to find it in new condition.
All new sensors are factory-tested for perfect accuracy and ready for installation with complete confidence.
