The cold-start valve provides additional fuel to overcome fuel condensation and the extra friction present during engine start-up in cold conditions. Dependent on and operating in series with the thermo-time switch, the valve creates an atomized swirl mixture which is injected directly into the intake manifold plenum. Its pre-owned, low-mileage condition makes it a perfect savings alternative.
