The cold-start valve supplies extra fuel to overcome fuel condensation and the increased friction during engine startup in cold weather. Working in series with the thermo-time switch, the valve creates an atomized swirl mixture that is injected directly into the intake manifold plenum. Designed and manufactured by Bosch, it ensures high reliability and durability.
