VW Type 3 NEW Manifold Pressure Sensor Bosch 0280100116

The pressure sensor sends an electrical signal to the ECU that depends on the intake manifold vacuum to indicate load; this signal significantly influences fuel metering. The analog electrical signal from the sensor varies as the intake manifold vacuum changes the compression of the two connected pressure capsules (aneroids). The aneroids expand and contract in response to the balance between the manifold vacuum and atmospheric pressure.
